Lorelei and Jorge got married in Monterey and it was a photographers dream. The day was overcast and the weather was nice and chilly. If you don’t know, photographers love overcast skys as it acts like a huge lightbox/diffuser for us. What that means for you is that you don’t get those crazy harsh lights that can create shadows under your nose and eyes.
They got married at Asilomar State Beach which is right next to the water and it lend itself to a beautiful backdrop. Their guests were made up of their closests friends and family. Their reception was at a bistro in Pacific Grove.
Katie & Scot Wedding | Monte Verde Inn | Sacramento Wedding Photographer
Katie and Scot (with one T) got married at the Monte Verde Inn Foresthill this past June and I had the most fun photographing it. The moment I knew the wedding was going to kick major ass was when after Katie & Scot were pronounced husband and wife, Joe Kalamaras of SJ’s Disc Jockey played “Turned Down For What?” by Little Jon!
Heather and Talon met on Plenty of Fish and instantly hit it off on their first date in Old Sac. Talon likes to work on cars and Heather… well, Heather’s hot and I am the lucky photographer who got to photograph their wedding. Their wedding took place in Galt at a friends private residence. And just adjactent to their home was a beautiful vineyard that had lush green vines and leaves. There was a white picket fence that came between us and the vineyard, but I didn’t let that hold me back. Did I mention I was also 7 months pregnant? I just squeezed my way inbetween the posts, convinced 4 guys to lift the bride over the fence (2 on one side and the other 2 were to recieve her on the other side) and we got some beautiful portraits.
Some kind words left by Heather on my Yelp page:
Liz is just amazing!
When I first got engaged, Feb 2013, my first thought was that I must find an amazing photographer. I happened to find Liz through Facebook and fell in love with her style of photography. We met up a week later and I knew right away this was the photographer I wanted. I told her at the meeting that I believed the most important money I will spend at my wedding is on a photographer because photographs will last and be seen for years and years to come. I was not let down on my decision to hire her. Our wedding and engagement photos turned out AMAZING!!!! Liz was fun, kind, and willing to crawl over fences (even at 7 months pregnant) to get the best shot possible! Everyone one of my bridesmaids raved about how great she was to work with. I was blown away by the pictures; I couldn’t have asked for anything more! I will be recommending her to all my friends who will hopefully soon be engaged!
Thank you Liz for blowing our socks off with your stunning skills!
